SALMON SALAD SANDWICH ON WHEAT


We are striving to increase our fish intake, cuz that is what they tell us to do. With the recent addition of a new fish vendor in the market house, it's become even easier with more varities to choose from.


Ingredients / Vendor:

Salmon / Frank's Fish & Seafood
Wheat Bread / Krause's
Lettuce, Tomatos / Madison's
Mayonaise, Avocados / Madison's










Modified tuna salad recipe, substituting salmon for the tuna.

A simple way to cook fish and make a spread that can last throughout the week, even making a great impromtu snack on saltines. Fresh makes it best.

PIEROGIES W/ CHORIZO & JALAPENOS


There are a few things that you cant lose after leaving your hometown of Cleveland. One, that you'll always love the Browns despite their record, two you love snow and laugh when Cincinnatians call a dusting of snow "the white death", and three, that you get a hankering for perogis (specifically homemade ones from Parma) at least once a month. We're still waiting for homemade ones to be available at the Market house, but we were able to find frozen ones that beat out the frozen box of Mrs. T's Pierogi's you find at the Supermarkets. Spice them up with a few extras, and this dish is a quick treat.


Ingredients / Vendor:

Pierogis / Mikes Meats
Mexican Chorizo / Kroeger & Sons
Tomatoes / Madison's
Jalapenos, onions / Madison's
Shaved Parmesan / Madison's








Match these pierogis with any extras.
